Hi everyone right now went on a tram it is kind of like a train. When we got of we went walking and we had pofertjes. ( its alright if you don't know what that is because you can only get it in Holland )   Poferjes are like pancakes but much tastier and different. For you who don't know what the beautiful city of Amsterdam is like here are some photos.

Hi. Right now I am in the beautiful city of Amsterdam I have had to travel all together  { on the plane }  24 hours it was a fun trip and I am now with my family, here is a photo:

Fidget spinners

Kia ora I am here to talk to you about why fidgety fun fidget spinners should NOT be allowed in class here are my reasons and examples why.

Bring your fidget spinner into

Firstly fidget spinners  are distracting so say you were working  and the person next to you started to spin theres and it was spinning...spinning...spinning..spinning...spinning...spinning  oh! Sorry I got a little carried away with  the spinnings, SEE! It is already  taking over me and my learning. So the person next to you then asks you if you want a turn and most people would say YES!  And then you are distracted and are taking up learning seconds,minutes and even HOURS  on it distracting yourself.

Secondly if you did not know  fidget spinners are very popular and the chances of it getting lost are 89 percent thats a big chance. So say if you left your fidget spinner on the table and then came back AHH your fidget spinner is not there POOF it has disappeared! ( or has it? )  so my advice is do not  take it  into class keep it in your bag.

And lastly  these are playground toys not class toys and you should just save all your mood for spinning, for the playground .

In for all these reasons,  I think fidget spinners should not be used in the class.

 



A few weeks ago we had to write a persuasive piece of writing. After we had done that we made some art, what we drew was fidget spinners. The WALT was use  space, crayon and dye. We had to use up all the space on the paper. It was really fun and I enjoyed it. Here is my writing. I hope you enjoy!  

Dream Ice Cream

Last week Te Ngahere made ice cream! Because we had been doing reading inferencing questions on ice cream. But first we had to finish our learning plan. On Monday and Tuesday we weren't so lucky but on Wednesday we finished. So on Friday we made ice cream, next we did a recount  I was focusing on metaphors. I Hope you enjoy.   

Terrific Tim Tipene

Last week on Thursday Tim Tipene came to our school to talk to us and read us some stories. My favorite story  was   Hinemoa Te Toa.Another book of his is Taming The Taniwha I like that one to.His motto is there's a warrior in everyone.I really enjoyed his visit and I hope he can come again.

Surf Life Savers!

A couple of weeks ago we went to see some surf life savers. They were really helpful  and I learnt a lot and had some fun ! We played running games and games with their equipment. It was really fun.`

School Triathlon

A couple of weeks ago At our school we had our own tryathlon. We swam at the beach, then ran back to school, and then did laps around the field. After the triathlon  I was TIRED!
