William Pike

Last week Te Ngahere learnt about William Pike, and then we made a  google drawing.We learnt  what happened to him and we watched a webinar about the mountain he has recently climbed. I think it is very strong of him to do all the stuff he use to do but now with no leg.Here is my google drawing.

Super hero to the rescue

Last week in Te Ngahere. White reading group read a story called Superhero To The Rescue. After we had read the story we answered some questions.We answered the questions on a google slide, we were learning to answer comprehension questions . Here is my work.

Amazing Egypt

A couple of weeks ago  Te Ngahere was learning to  writing informational reports. We had to chose a country and I chose Egypt.The topic of what I wrote about was Egypt's  Sights .Here is my writing.

Report Writing

For the  last few  weeks Te Ngahere have been doing report writing. Our walt was to write  an information report. We had to choose a country I chose Egypt  the sub topics we could choose from were  famous person,animals,war,native plant/tree, sport, historic event,climate, landscape and disaster. After we had chosen one we wrote about it. Here is my first report.

Reading goals

Last week in Te Ngahere we made our term 3 reading goals. Our walt was identify our learning goals. We did not know how to get our reading goals at first but Whea Chrissy took the white reading group ( my reading group ) down to the mat and out of a document we chose 3 goals that we struggled with then we made those three our reading goals.These goals will help us with our reading so we have something to aim for. Here are my goals.

Maths goals

Last week Te Ngahere  made our Term 3 Maths goals. We had to choose 3 goals  from our IKAN sheet and make a google drawing. My goals are, Compare, Fraction sizes with whole sizes, Compatible numbers for addition, and place value partitioning for addition. Our WALT was I am learning to identify our learning goals. These maths goals are what I need to learn next and they will help me focus on what I need to learn. Here is my maths goals.

Travels

In Wales  we went to a cliff walk. It was really pretty and we went to where the life boats are kept.  And we went and saw where King Ather was buried.
